The Vault of Punk Horror is the originating idea behind Punk Horror. The Vault is a charity anthology that combines the aesthetics of punk music and life with the genre of fiction that we most love, horror. The idea started in mid 2005 when David and Gabriel met on the internet. After talking back and forth for a while they decided that this was a very plausible and exciting project to work together on. By August they were ready to go. They opened the Vault up for submissions and they began to come in, suddenly there were setbacks.
David found himself spending time in prison over a first amendment issue, the web site had issues and the whole project was put on hold until everything could be set straight again. The project was stalled.
After nearly three months in prison, David was released. And After many trials and errors the website was up and running again. Work on the Vault has begun again in earnest. Letters were being written to some of the bigger names in the punk scene to begin getting their support and those who have made submissions are being notified of acceptance or denial.
The Vault is finally done!
